Prof. I. O. Adewale of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology resumes today 1st August, 2021 as the New Dean. He takes over from Prof. M. A. Eleruja of the Department of Physics and Physics Engineering who just completed a tenure from August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2021.

Prof. I. O. Adewale has offered to serve as the Dean, Faculty of Science for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 Academic Sessions. He promises to contribute to the development of the Faculty by providing quality leadership and also consolidating the strands of excellence achieved so far by the Faculty.

Prof. Adewale has served at the Departmental, Faculty, University and External Levels (within and outside Nigeria) at various times before assuming this new position of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

The Faculty wishes him a successful tenure.
